Hi, I'm Danny.
Where the name came from
Jasmine Lane is inspired by the street where my wife Marie and I bought our first home. Like every new homeowner, we quickly learned that owning a home comes with costs nobody warns you about. Property taxes, escrow shortfalls, insurance premiums — all landing in the mailbox with no explanation and no one in your corner.
What I learned about property taxes
The deeper I looked into it, the more I realized homeownership is needlessly complicated. Millions of families are paying more than they should — on their taxes, their insurance, their mortgage — and most of them don't know it. The tools and information exist to fix it, but nobody has put them together in a way that actually works for the homeowner.
Why I built this
Housing affordability is one of the defining issues of our time, and a lot of the conversation is about the cost of buying a home. But for the people who already own one, the costs don't stop at closing. They keep showing up — and they keep going up. I wanted to build something that helps with that.
What doing nothing costs
Jasmine Lane starts with property taxes. We check what the county says your home is worth, compare it against real sales data, and if the numbers don't add up, we file the appeal and handle the hearing. You don't pay us anything unless we save you money.
That's it. No gimmick, no subscription, no upsell. Just a straightforward service built by a homeowner who thought: this should be easier.
We're launching in Fulton and DeKalb County, Georgia. Jasmine is Georgia's state wildflower. It felt right.
