SMS Disclosure
ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
Jasmine Lane sends SMS text messages from a verified U.S. toll-free number to customers who provide their phone number and check the SMS opt-in box during signup at jasminelane.app. Messages are sent and delivered through Twilio.
We use SMS for transactional and customer-support purposes related to helping a customer save on their residential property taxes (for example, a property tax appeal or a homestead exemption filing). We do not sell phone numbers, and we do not send marketing-only SMS to people who are not customers.
TYPES OF MESSAGES YOU MAY RECEIVE
If you opt in, you may receive any of the following message types from Jasmine Lane.
Signup and authorization confirmations
Jasmine Lane: thanks for signing up. Tap to review and sign your authorization for the [County] Board of Tax Assessors: https://jasminelane.app/sign/abc123
Appeal status updates
Jasmine Lane: your appeal for [property address] was filed today. Hearing is set for [date]. We'll text again 1 day before. Reply STOP to opt out.
Hearing reminders
Jasmine Lane: heads up — your [County] hearing is tomorrow at [time]. You don't need to attend; we represent you. Reply HELP for support.
Annual Check-In (once per year)
Jasmine Lane: it's almost time for your [year] appeal. Reply YES to refile, NO to skip this year, or STOP CHECK-IN to turn off these reminders.
Customer support replies
When you text us a question, you'll receive a reply by SMS — sometimes assisted by AI under human oversight. Sensitive matters are escalated to a person.
FREQUENCY
Message frequency varies with the status of your property tax matter. A typical year for an active customer is 4–8 transactional messages plus 1 Annual Check-In message. Customers who reply with questions may receive additional messages as part of the conversation.
HOW TO OPT IN
You opt in by checking the box labeled "Receive Jasmine Lane updates via SMS" on the signup page at jasminelane.app/start. The box is unchecked by default — checking it is your affirmative consent. It appears directly below the phone-number field, separate from acceptance of our Service Agreement, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
Checking that one box opts you in to all of our transactional and support SMS for this program: signup and authorization confirmations, status updates on your property tax matter, hearing reminders, customer-support replies, and the once-a-year Annual Check-In. The message-type list above, message frequency, rates disclaimer, and opt-out keywords are shown next to the box (with a link to this disclosure).
Opting in to SMS is not a condition of receiving our services — you can decline and still use Jasmine Lane by email, including the Annual Check-In by email.
HOW TO OPT OUT
You can opt out at any time by replying any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us:
STOP, END, CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE
You'll receive a single confirmation message and will not receive further texts from us. Opting out of SMS does not cancel your appeal — we will continue to contact you by email.
To turn off Annual Check-In specifically (without opting out of all SMS or canceling your services), reply STOP CHECK-IN to any check-in message, change the setting in your account, or email hello@jasminelane.app.

CARRIER RATES AND DELIVERY
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier. Jasmine Lane is not liable for delays, errors, or non-delivery caused by your carrier or by a third-party service provider.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
PRIVACY AND TERMS
Your phone number and the content of your messages with us are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see Section 4) and our Terms of Service. We do not share or sell your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.
